With monotonous predictability, when talking about space scene depictions in Digital Art I'll often refer people to Greg Martin's works, not the only great example of skilled imagination but definitely up there with the best.

To either be gob-smacked that he'd been a Devart member all that time...or to reaffirm my memory is going.....

I guess it is a real 'fault' with Deviantart's size that skilled artists are lost amongst the Portraits-of-Pooch.

Representing S/F and/or Fantasy themes really takes sublime skill....and is on a par with the dramas 'traditional' artists have/had with painting/drawing hands...
