Firefox 3 Release & Stardock Site Compatibility
Jul 30, 2008 12:59

Firefox 3.0 goes final and is scheduled for release on Tuesday, June 17th.

There are currently known incompatibilities between Firefox 3 and many of our sites and forums. For the most part, the sites function properly, but have formatting issues. A specific example are the login & password fields to log into these forums. In Firefox 3, instead of both being on the same line, they are stacked vertically.

We will be addressing these visual issues in time. Please do NOT post threads on the forums pointing out Firefox 3 site issues. They will be deleted. We are aware of the problems and will work as quickly as we can to resolve them.

Until posted otherwise, the only version of Firefox our sites support at the moment is Firefox 2.

I'm sorry but that is an incredibly dumb idea. You are going to end up spending thousands for a proper liquid cooling system, why not just pick up a Core 2 Extreme edition processor and be set?

ok what i meant by that is, i'm buying the QX9650 and i want a liquid cooling system that will cool the cpu in the most rigirous conditions..reason y is i build maps for UT3 and the UT3 editor maxes and i mean maxes the cpu to the point that the system damn near locks, plus when i play crysis on high settings the cpu will remain 100% cool.so i want a liquid cooling system that will not allow the cpu to overheat and will not allow the cpu to reach over 100 + degrees, the overclocking part was just a example though i will not be overclocking my new cpu that high.infact i will not be overclocking it at all.

I saw one on tech tv that submerged the motherboard in a non conductive liquid...no overheating there.(it bubbled like mad tho)

What are your current specs? I have a Q6600 OC'd to 3.0ghz and Crysis never goes above 40% CPU usage.

Here you go. Have a look at these cooling systems. There are also L/C mainboards built for over-clocking.

if your going to buy a kit buy from petras something like this
only good kits are from petras
Petras Kit

all the other kits are crap or go to xtremesystems forums and look in liquid cooling section and make a post and let ppl help you put together your wc setup...kits are terrible, you can get much better cooling by buying the parts yourself...

i just did my first watercooling setup cost me $320.00 bought all the parts i needed...

pictures of mine here
My WC Setup

expect maybe 3.6-4ghz on the Quad your buying nothing more unless you go subzero...

I am a systems builder and am compelled to tell you that a PURE copper heat sink works as well as any water cooler (below $400). i am running a QX9450 (2.6 out of the box on a ASUS P5E DELUXE with DDR# 1600MHZ. I am clocked at a steady 353 on FSB of 1745mhz with absolutely no down time or lock ups. The Solid copper sink costs only $70. You are going to spend more cash trying to make a weak system fast. Use your blister on top of your shoulders and buy moderate and then make it fast and relieable. N ote the other good thing to do is to buy a 10,000 or 15,000 RPM HD as HDs are the true problem withspeed.
