Last week ObjectDock died completely and is now non-functional. I'm attempting to get it running again on Vista 64, either the beta or release version.
Is there a known issues or compatibility list somewhere I can work through?
Here's a quick rundown of what's going wrong if anyone has experienced similar problems:
ObjectDock loads and displays the icons and bars correctly. Then it locks up. At this point everything else running performs normally, but the Task Manager slows to a crawl as well. The Task Manager reports ObjectDock is not using excessive CPU time or memory. Killing ObjectDock causes it to run smoothly again.
Removing all custom docklets and their entries in the bars gives a very slight improvement. Although it takes 5-10 seconds to redraw each bar, eventually you can bring a right-click menu up. Sometimes there will be short three-second bursts of smooth responsiveness before OD locks up again.
The only bars running are a shortcut bar and a task bar.
Behaviour is identical in both the beta and the release.
