Firefox 3 Release & Stardock Site Compatibility
Jul 30, 2008 12:59

Firefox 3.0 goes final and is scheduled for release on Tuesday, June 17th.

There are currently known incompatibilities between Firefox 3 and many of our sites and forums. For the most part, the sites function properly, but have formatting issues. A specific example are the login & password fields to log into these forums. In Firefox 3, instead of both being on the same line, they are stacked vertically.

We will be addressing these visual issues in time. Please do NOT post threads on the forums pointing out Firefox 3 site issues. They will be deleted. We are aware of the problems and will work as quickly as we can to resolve them.

Until posted otherwise, the only version of Firefox our sites support at the moment is Firefox 2.

Hello Everyone! I have a question!

I'm quite new here, and I am wondering if there is a discussion board for suggesting ideas? I really want a Silent Hill Otherworld skin/blind but feel a little intimidated to make one myself.

Here is as good a place as any....

Though there is a 'General' forum sub-section called 'Requests'....which is for.....requests....

And welcome to the machine, too....

answer is simple. Don't be intimidated.

Open Skinstudio. Do some exploring. You won't screw anything up that you can't undo with a click. After about 2 Hours of fumbling around, you'll start to "get it".

Then check out some tutorials , they will make alot more sense once you have a basic understanding of what skinstudio is and does.

A couple hours later, you'll realy start to catch on.

Getting started is not as tough as you think.

and Welcome.

Night Train is right. Jump in and get your feet wet. Check out the tuts and play with some programs. Always remember to make a log of what buttons and changes you are making as later if you want to reduplicate what you did after 20 or 30 changes you won't ever remember it exactly. And may never get the same results twice. You just might have lost the skin of the century. Experiment and SAVE the works you have done for later as I always find myself pouring over my past tests to find that one thing I did before I knew squat was to later be a part of a new work. Keep at it! You will get it!
