Firefox 3.0 goes final and is scheduled for release on Tuesday, June 17th.

There are currently known incompatibilities between Firefox 3 and many of our sites and forums. For the most part, the sites function properly, but have formatting issues. A specific example are the login & password fields to log into these forums. In Firefox 3, instead of both being on the same line, they are stacked vertically.

We will be addressing these visual issues in time. Please do NOT post threads on the forums pointing out Firefox 3 site issues. They will be deleted. We are aware of the problems and will work as quickly as we can to resolve them.

Until posted otherwise, the only version of Firefox our sites support at the moment is Firefox 2.

After the success on the Troll Thumping Day Suite some members of the Mother Thumpers are coming together to create the "Happy Birthday Suit(e)".

I envision this suite centered around a DX gadget that counts down to your birthday. On your birthday the gadget will prompt you to download the most recent incarnation of the suite components so for your special day, your desktop will celebrate with you.

At this point we have some components assigned to artists but this is a collaborative project and welcome input and assistance from everyone. Please jump in and help out if you'd like.

I know Bug has some ideas and I'll bet Boxxi could come up with something.

The nice thing is . . according to RomanDA's countdown widget . . . we have a bit of time.

OK . . KarmaGirl *is* Stardock no matter what other CEO's may claim. Her birthday is good enough for me. (and I like Snowy well enough too ) Any votes against . . now is yoru one shot.

I dunno which thread to post in , so I will post in both. I have the perfect idea for the Start Window, I just can't do it.

You need one of these....


To go right across the top of the window and have it unroll every time the window is opened...with the noise effect. I would do it, but I totally suck at animations.

It could extend past the window , like the dragon in Molten does.

I couldn't begin to make it unroll. maybe AVMAN?

I had one other idea...incorporate Winky. The start window just one big balloon with Winky clinging to the top in a party hat. From there, you could have Winky holding a present, cake..even a Winky widget blowing a party blower...if someone can make the damn party blower animate.

I use the very bottom one.
Paste it into the form when you click the image icon of the editor.
