Firefox 3 Release & Stardock Site Compatibility
Jul 30, 2008 12:59

Firefox 3.0 goes final and is scheduled for release on Tuesday, June 17th.

There are currently known incompatibilities between Firefox 3 and many of our sites and forums. For the most part, the sites function properly, but have formatting issues. A specific example are the login & password fields to log into these forums. In Firefox 3, instead of both being on the same line, they are stacked vertically.

We will be addressing these visual issues in time. Please do NOT post threads on the forums pointing out Firefox 3 site issues. They will be deleted. We are aware of the problems and will work as quickly as we can to resolve them.

Until posted otherwise, the only version of Firefox our sites support at the moment is Firefox 2.

Not to hard to figure out what you are saying here holomatrix69.

I think releasing an update to a program that works is more important than releasing one that doesn't.

Again?! Another person complaining... Why doesn't everyone get some popcorn, and turn on Auto Refresh? Be patient!

Once again we see an exhibition of an incredible grasp of the twin concepts of prioritization and allocation of limited development resources.

On a tangent, Chaos (entropy) is inescapable. Thermodynamics and all of that.

That which we cannot change...

holomatrix69: Everybody that has something to do with Stardock or WC knows that Stardock try's very hard to produce great software and keep WC running smooth, all good thing take a good deal of time, and if you do not like what Stardock is doing why are you still here? nobody need to write

Dealing with Vista and his features and now with the SP1 comming to get the software running fine when it will be launch is not a easy thing to do and wait for a good finished product is better than get a product that doesn't work. 2Cents

As for your last words i agree with folks that wasn't necessary i wish you'll be more civil in your future comments.

Guys let him calm down

Ok, how about "better be late than Vista without SP1"

The point was Vista should have come out with whatever is in SP1. Stardock is probably trying to do that. Get things right as much as possible before getting DesktopX out.

I say if you think you can do it faster and better...go ahead.. lets see how well you do.

Sometimes things get delayed, the best bet is to be patient. In this world of instant gratification I realize that sometimes patience is no longer a virtue, but restraint and civility should not be cast to the wind.

It's nice to see that holomatrix69 has taken a few moments to come back and take part in this discussion.  Who knows, maybe his life is full of chaos to go along with Stardock.
