Man, this is sweet feature on Leapard. I know there are flyout menues, but any plans for stacks grid menu. This would make my productivity level jump!

This is a well documented request for Object Dock. The developers are well looking into it.

Don't forget to check the Fan setting...sweeeeet. The site says it works only on the bottom dock but if you have a side single drawer set up...it'll work for that also. Just set the drawer near the botttom, depending on the amount of folders in your stack.

How can I get this to work at the top of the screen?

Do you already have a dock at the top?
Have you added to docklet to the docklet folder?
Have you added the docklet to your dock?

If you've done all that, what are you seeing when you click on the docklet?
December 21, 2007 11:01:02
Yes, I've done all of that. It works beautifully on the bottom. On top, however, the stack or grid opens up above the top dock, above the top of my screen.

What happens if you do a fan?
December 21, 2007 11:28:44
Fans work fine: They fan out below. This is part of why I am confused.

I figured it out. Even though I had a dock on the top of my screen, the positioning was set to "bottom." I right clicked on the dock, then selected position on screen, then selected "Top." Go figure.

Lol. I should check my posts more often! I hadn't checked this post for 10 days after I posted it, and found 17 replies! And better yet, the awesome stacks docklet. Was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!

Where is your dock located? If it's at the top you can't use the stack, you'd need to use the fan setting.

See reply # 12-17 (especialy 17). The top dock "position on screen" must be set to top. For some reason, I have experienced top docks having a default setting of bottom screen position. Like I said above: Go Figure!

Help me what? I don't have problems with my docks. As for this:

I flipped what I meant to say in light of what the developer said. I forgot that Kosati had it working though. (the fan)
