Firefox 3 Release & Stardock Site Compatibility
Jul 30, 2008 12:59

Firefox 3.0 goes final and is scheduled for release on Tuesday, June 17th.

There are currently known incompatibilities between Firefox 3 and many of our sites and forums. For the most part, the sites function properly, but have formatting issues. A specific example are the login & password fields to log into these forums. In Firefox 3, instead of both being on the same line, they are stacked vertically.

We will be addressing these visual issues in time. Please do NOT post threads on the forums pointing out Firefox 3 site issues. They will be deleted. We are aware of the problems and will work as quickly as we can to resolve them.

Until posted otherwise, the only version of Firefox our sites support at the moment is Firefox 2.

Favorites - Item

Hello,

This is not really a problem, but more pure curiosity

Does anyone here knows how do we use the section Favorites Item in Controls\menus?
and what is the purpose of this section?

I tried to use it like the "pull down item" section however nothing happenned.

So, did I missed something?
Someone here has a link to a document on the internet that could explain that?
Also, I had to learn everything by myself cause I never found a help file or a tutorial of SkinStudio
Does a manual exist? (precision I don't speak about a short summary of few things, I speak about a real manual that can be seen as a reference book)

The Favorites Item is the mouseover for the Favorites menu you access from the menubar at the top of your screen. I generally use the same mouseover that I use for the drop down menu..the pull down item. If you don't skin the favorites menu or the mouseover, I think WB uses the drop down menu (changed to a bmp) and pull down item.

The "manual" is being written right now.. there is an official skinstudio tutorial thread..

The main difference between the fav menu and the pull down item background is the fav menu does not support transparency.. the taskband group menu typically would use the same image and also doesn not support trans.
