exe icon change

Hello,
I thought that changing exe file's icon is a great feature. But it seems that when the changed application runs, it still possess the old icon at the Taskbar buttons as well as at the upper-left corner of its window. Also noticed that the changed aaps start slightly slower?
Are these normal?
I use Vista Home Pre, the latest IconPackager.

Yep that is proper. The icon on taskbar and app icon on titlebar are controlled by the app, changing icon that represents the exe does not changing icon coding in the app.


Also noticed that the changed aaps start slightly slower?


Have never noticed any slowness, as said above, all you are changing is the image/icon that is displayed for the exe, this does not effect the exe in any way.

Thanx. I suspected that, however, first I thought that the exe file can be hacked...
