I have purchased WindowBlinds5.51 in hopes of making a "simple" change to the WinXP Classic Theme: I want to change the color of the scroll bar thumbs or scroll bar backgrounds for better contrast between the thumbs and background.
I prefer light colors for the Active Window, etc. In XP this sets the thumbs to the same light color and XP somehow(?) decides what color to make the scroll bar backgrounds...and generally picks a low contrast color; e.g. if I make the Active Window color light gray, then XP makes the scroll bar thumbs light gray and the scroll bar backgrounds a lighter gray that is very difficult for me to distinguish from the thumbs. I believe I could be happy with either making the thumbs darker or the backgrounds lighter.
Can someone point me to instructions for this "simple" operation via WindowBlinds? Or via some method other than Windowblinds? If there is no way to alter the Classic theme, I'll scan the available skin designs at WinCustomize in hopes of finding something similar to Classic but with better color discrimination of the thumbs of the scroll bars.
Thanks!
