i want to add my own track bar design

i want to add my own track bar design, to an existing skin and still be able to use the old one.
i understand that i can create a secondery skin and there to add my track bar.

1) how do i create my own track bar?
2) how do i add it to a secondary skin derrived from my existing skin?

what do you mean by track bar?

scroll bar?
status bar?

Open the skin in SkinStudio, select File/Save As... and save the skin under a new name; the original skin will remain on your system unchanged. Open the newly named skin in SkinStudio and go to the section Controls/Trackbars. You can replace the individual image files with new ones or edit the existing ones to your liking. When you're done & happy with the trackbars, save the skin and apply it.

Just remember, the skin you save under a new name cannot be distributed to anyone else without the original skin author's permission - the new skin will be for your personal use only.

you say to save the original skin with another name and then to replace the existing track-bar. but i want to use both original and the one i designed in the same skin.
i actually need 2 kinds of track bars to be use on 1 skin.

Not sure that's possible, hagai. You can mix & match images within the skin but can't toggle one set off & another set on within the same skin.

What exactly are you trying to do? Use a different set of trackbars for a specific application or (applications) & the normal ones for everything else, something like that? If so, you could create the new skin, change only the trackbars in it, and use it as a Per Application skin for the program(s) you want. That way all the programs would have the same skin appearance, except for the trackbars in the specific applications for which you choose to use the alternate skin.
