Firefox 3 Release & Stardock Site Compatibility
Jul 30, 2008 12:59

Firefox 3.0 goes final and is scheduled for release on Tuesday, June 17th.

There are currently known incompatibilities between Firefox 3 and many of our sites and forums. For the most part, the sites function properly, but have formatting issues. A specific example are the login & password fields to log into these forums. In Firefox 3, instead of both being on the same line, they are stacked vertically.

We will be addressing these visual issues in time. Please do NOT post threads on the forums pointing out Firefox 3 site issues. They will be deleted. We are aware of the problems and will work as quickly as we can to resolve them.

Until posted otherwise, the only version of Firefox our sites support at the moment is Firefox 2.

ANOTHER NEWBIE WHO NEEDS HELP W/ SKINSTUDIO

I just downloaded WindowBlinds and the SkinStudio the free version I was trying to create a visual style since I'm not sure yet what I'm doing I only edited the toolbar colors and saved it and uploaded to the WindowBlinds program and tried to use it but when I did the color scheme that I chose when I created my own visual theme is not showing up, it looks like the Win XP default blue color, what am I doing wrong ? I downloaded skins from WindowBlinds that people have uploaded and tried them out with no problem but when I tried to use mine via WindowBlinds or using SkinStudio, creating visual style, editing the window bar colors and saving it, when it gave me the option to apply it to my desktop now it doesn't work or it does something else like revert the desktop into windows classic version of the tool bar and it's not even the color scheme I choose. I hope you can understand what I'm saying and that you maybe able to help me.

Open logon studio and click the "Help" button at the bottom right.. There is a tutorial there that should answer most of your questions..

I don't think LogonStudio tutes are going to help much with SkinStudio, DZ.... But you have the right idea......... There are tutorial links in the SkinStudio Help menu.

LoL!, I am *really sorry, Thanks Koasati, teach me to actually read instead of skim, skim, skiming...* Sighs*

But yeah, more times than not the answers are in the help files of the programs, people have just got to take the time to read them...
